24 Apr Four Uses For A Stretch Tent
The stretch tent, as we know it, is a modern take on the traditional ‘Bedouin Tent’. Used in hot climates, particularly the desert terrains of North Africa, the stretch tent stays blissfully cool inside (essentially acting like a huge parasol!). We’re proud to stock this versatile and unique style of structure and we’ve got some great ideas on how to use it and wow your guests…
Ceremony space
We all know what the British weather can be like, so whilst an outdoor wedding ceremony may sound idyllic, it’s not always practical if you and your guests get caught in a down pour. Our stretch tents can give that ‘out-doorsy’ feel to your ceremony, with its open sides and chino coloured canvas, you can make a super special and unique ceremony space. We have 2 different sizes so we can offer for both intimate weddings up to 150 guests!
Wedding Reception
Our 10x15m stretch tent makes a fantastic reception space, with the option of having the sides pinned down or opened (depending on the weather), this style of structure immediately makes the event feel laid back and fun. We can trim the edge with fairy lights and use our rustic furniture to bring the space to life!
Al Fresco Dining
Alongside our larger 10x15m stretch tent, we can also offer our fabulous little 8x6m stretch tent. With its open sides, this is a brilliant space for Al Fresco dining / garden parties and BBQs. We’ve got plenty of dining and lounge furniture, along with cosy sheepskins to kit it out with!
Outdoor Bar
Depending on your venue, you might fancy an overspill area or an outdoor bar. Perhaps you’ve opted for a cosy venue which doesn’t have quite enough room for these things? The stretch tents are a great way to offer cover to your bar supplier and guests visiting this space.
With a wealth of lighting, furniture and accessories in our stock, we’ve got plenty of options to furnish these unique tents and really bring your special occasion to life. We can also recommend fantastic florists and event stylists for those finer details.
