Wedding Competition Terms & Conditions

  • The term ‘wedding’ is defined as wedding reception. You will not legally be able to marry inside the Yurt. The ceremony must be organised by the winner at an alternative venue.
  • All entries must be over the age of 18. The prize is non transferable and must be used by the winner.
  • The wedding reception is to take place on Saturday 25th April 2015 after 12pm.
  • The wedding reception is to take place at Yorkshire Yurts HQ – Yew Tree House, Aldfield, Ripon, HG4 3BE and this is non negotiable. All entries will be offered a show round of the venue.
  • The wedding reception includes the following.
    • 50ft yurt
    • 33ft yurt
    • 25ft yurt
    • Tables (round or long) and chairs/ benches
    • Bar (not alcholol)
    • Stage for band/DJ
    • Lighting
    • Styling
    • Heating
    • Toilets
  • The winner will be given a list of suggested suppliers to use at the venue i.e. photographer, cake supplier, transport etc…and these suppliers will NOT be included in the prize and therefore have to be paid for by the winner.
  • Yorkshire Yurts reserves the rights to use photographic images taken by themselves or the professional wedding photographer on the day for marketing and publicity of Yorkshire Yurts.
  • The wedding is to be limited to 140 guests maximum.
  • Yorkshire Yurts will offer the winner a choice of caterers to choose from.
  • The bar is to be run by Yorkshire Yurts. The winner can discuss their requirements and budget with Yorkshire Yurts prior to the wedding.
  • Last orders at the bar will be 11.45pm
  • The wedding is to finish at 12am(music stops, lights go up) and the venue to be vacated by 1am
  • If due to unforeseen circumstances, the winner no longer requires or wants to accept the winning prize, another winner will be chosen at random from the remaining entries and the decision will be final. The winner will need to confirm acceptance of the prize within 7 days.
  • Yorkshire Yurts reserve the right to revoke any prize if proven necessary. Only one entry per person (couple) is allowed and any substituted or duplicated entries will be removed from the competition.
  • The client shall indemnify Yorkshire Yurts against all costs, charges, claims, expenses demands and liabilities incurred by or made against Yorkshire Yurts as a result of the negligence or wilful default of the client or any of its guests.
  • The competition will run until midnight on 11th January 2015. All entries received after this date will not be a valid entry.
  • The winner will be announced on 12th January 2015 and will be notified by.
