We do ask that you (the hirer) are responsible for providing a suitable power source and cabling, as required for your event.
We strongly advise hiring a generator to supply constant and reliable power, rather than relying on household mains. This gives you the extra reassurance for a smooth running event.
Yorkshire Yurts are able to supply generators for your event. Take a look at our Utilities for more information.
Items to consider power for:
- Heating
- Music – Band/DJ
- Internal lighting
- External lighting
- Catering equipment
- Toilets
- Additional Entertainment e.g Photobooth.
It is important you speak with all of your suppliers in advance to check their individual power requirements. Yorkshire Yurts requirements for lighting and heating are listed on your quotation, next to each individual item.
Please note:
The client must ensure there is power on-site when the Yorkshire Yurts team are setting up so any lighting and heating can be tested.
If you are using power from a building and/or your power source is more than 5m away, please do let us know in advance as we will need to order extra connecting parts.
